Who writes Scriptside, and how
Scriptside is a small independent publication that compares online hair-loss services from their own published pages. It is written from sources, not from a clinic, and nobody medical reviews it.
Scriptside exists for one question: when you get hair-loss treatment online, what are you actually signing up for? We read each service's product pages, pricing pages, FAQs and terms of service, write down what they say with the date we read it, and compare them on the same five tests.
Not reviewed by a clinician
Scriptside is not reviewed by a doctor, pharmacist or any other clinician, and it has no medical reviewer. We are writers who read primary sources: the services' own pages, FDA labels and safety alerts on fda.gov and DailyMed, and pharmacy price pages. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here should decide whether you start, stop or combine a treatment. That decision belongs to you and a prescriber who knows your history.
What we read, and when
Every price, rule and date on the site comes from a page we read ourselves, and each page says when. The current round of reading was done on 22 September 2026. Some services block automated page fetches; where that happened we read the page through a text rendering of the same public URL, and said so in our notes. When we could not verify something at its source, we left it out rather than guess.
We did not sign up to any service, so we cannot tell you how fast a clinician replies or what a consultation felt like. We will not invent that experience.
How we score
Each service gets up to 100 points: 30 for price clarity, 20 for clinician access, 20 for exit terms, 15 for compounding labels and 15 for pharmacy choice. We divide by ten for the published score and read it on a fixed scale, which is set out on our online hair-loss services compared page. A score describes a service's paperwork, never a medicine's results.
How we are paid
Some services pay us when a reader signs up through a marked link. That money never moves a score, and the proof is on the page: the service we score highest has no link from us. Our affiliate disclosure lists every programme and every offer we have turned down.
Corrections
Prices and terms change. If something here is out of date or wrong, write to [email protected] with the page and the source, and we will check it and correct the page, with the date of the change.
